MGB Scope of Services:
WELL Building Standard Feasibility Study
The New Central Library, located in Calgary’s East Village, is a landmark project for the City of Calgary, Calgary Public Library (CPL) and the Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC). It is a fully functional and flexible building that can readily adapt to the future programmatic needs of CPL. The four-storey building is constructed over the LRT tracks and has a connection to a district heating system. The design provides an open and welcoming structure connected to the streetscape at every edge, and a place that offers something to every Calgarian.
MGB provided fundamental and enhanced commissioning for LEED and was later engaged to provide a WELL Building Standard feasibility study.
